Taughannock Falls State Park

Our journey commenced at Taughannock Falls, a celestial 215-foot waterfall in the Finger Lakes region. Crafted by ancient glaciers, it stands tall, a testament to nature's grandeur. Get ready to be captivated by the raw beauty that Upstate New York has to offer.

Our next stop led us to Green Lake State Park in Fayetteville, a haven of tranquility. Picture a pristine glacial lake with emerald-green waters, inviting you to swim, fish, hike, or indulge in a delightful picnic. It's a paradise for those seeking a serene escape.

It is a true testament to the phrase “silent river runs deep” as it boasts a depth of 195ft that was an astonishing fact to me.
